Where have you been April? Writing a Book.

Book Giveaways this fall – Come see presentations at SETA this fall in San Antonio and Portsmouth VA. I plan on giving away a copy after the final presentation for all attendees. Look for the book at the Oracle OpenWorld Bookstore this September and at IOUG Collaborate next Spring.

First thing you will notice when looking at the cover, the mysterious image. I have NO idea what it is, all I know it is mysterious. Underground somewhere I suppose.

Oracle Database 11g – Underground Advice for Database Administrators

Now for those who haven’t written a book yet, when you do the entire process is fraught with give and takes.

This was first intended to be a novice book but my material was too advanced, ok so throw that idea out the window.

Enter a new title.

A couple of people inquired what I have been up to for the last few months…this was it.

If you have ever come to one of my presentations you know that I give out tons of info, this book is crammed full of advice. Decide for yourself if it is worth it.

Read it , digest it, chuck what you don’t need, come back for more.

Really intended for somone who isn’t a novice but new to Oracle. A fast learner, perhaps a manager, system admin or developer who is now in charge of a database.
